We believe all humans have a need for creativity and artistic expression. Creativity and art making is a state of playfulness – doing things for no other reason than the joy of it. Art and sexuality are tight together in a long history of our civilizations and diverse cultures. Art was fueled by sexuality and passion long before modern photography, video and social platforms.
Today there is probably no better nudge to make people learn and try new things than provide free high quality nude content to play with and build upon. Instead of endless porn, glamour and Instagram content consumption – we want you to stop and think and meditate on the marvel of human body and human creativity that made it possible to capture images like this with bare light. Open up one image in full resolution, look at it, study it, absorb it. Ask yourself what do you like about this face, this body, the choice of focus, the color palette, the framing? How does this image makes you feel and why? How would you have photographed this person? Might be as a result you’ll be inspired to try Photoshop or take up learning photography or video production, become curious to explore and discover for yourself the beauty of other human arts, books and the collective knowledge of our civilizations. Most importantly, we hope that by working with high quality nude content you’ll develop deeper understanding and respect for all women. At least it did it for us and we wish you the same.
“Copyright laws are a balance between the rights of creators of intellectual and artistic works and the rights of others to build upon those works.”(Wikipedia).
In most countries the copyright is given automatically to content creators and must be explicitly waved or purchased/licensed when derivative works are to be made. This creates a creative barrier to start and most content is also available in very low quality.
DROYC-STUDIOS grants the right to use any of our images (Content) to freely copy, distribute, and create derivate works without any written permission from us. The license is similar to share-alike license where all derivative products must inherit the same rights as Content and no new restrictions can be added to those works.
Download and share right– the right to make personal copies of the Content and to distribute to other people. Example: you can download the content and create your own curated collection that you then share online in full, or on and FTP in a zip-files or share it on torrents.
Right to show in public – the right to show the Content in public spaces. Example: show it in a class setting or why not on a corporate after work.
Right to create derivative work – the right to modify, alter and remix the Content to create a new works of art. Example: using the content to make a Fantasy theme composition in Photoshop or Corel Draw and present it as a standalone work.
And as a free-licensee you have some obligation and limitations:
Refer to the source: Any derivatives you create with the Content must be referred back to its original source by using one of the following reference styles: “DROYC-STUDIOS” or “droyc-studios.com”
No commercial use. You don’t have a commercial license to monetize on the Content. Once you’ve created something that you want to sell rather than distribute freely, you’ll need to obtain commercial license for selling. Example: you put our content on your website where you make revenue from Ads. That’s a commercial use and need to be licensed appropriate. Example 2: You create an amazing poster using elements from our content. You post it on social media and it becomes and instant hit. You now plan to print it and sell it on your website. This would have to be licensed as it is a commercial use.
If there is something specific you want to do with the Content but you are unsure about the rights and licenses just send us an e-mail and we’ll help you: legal@droyc.com
